So, just for the record, I'm out of this game.
I'm not upset at bientot for the delay, nor was I annoyed at entelein in the last game.
However, my purpose in participating in this game is to have a regular, brief, and somewhat structured writing "assignment," which isn't happening.
Fortunately, I'm in the four person group, so it can continue amongst vixyish, bientot, and xiadyn, although you guys will probably have to talk amongst yourselves to pick the new grid arrangement.

9:24PM - group 2, chapter 2
Sorry Erin -- your ghosts are the Mona Lisa, Elvis Presley, and "a priest and a rabbi."

Somehow I missed Tesla's post-o-ghosts till just now. I blame the LJ weirdness of the last weekish, but maybe it's a problem with my filters. Anyway, I'll get right on it.

doctorpepper, your ghosts are Napolean Bonaparte, Wile E. Coyote and Mona Lisa.
I posted this once, the day we started! Sorry...

4:08PM - updates
vixyish, your ghosts are the Virgin Mary, Superman, and Elvis Presley.
In the order listed, three rotations, our grid is going to look like this:
V D X
B V D
X B V
D X B
No one objected to two groups, so let's split it like this -- Group 1, Bastian, vix, Doci, Xia; Group 2, Erin, Tesla, and me. Group 2, we'll leave out ... hmm ... Superman, Ted Williams, and Tinkerbell. Any volunteers to go first?

Okay, people are jumping in, so cool. Do we want a theme to the ghosts this time? Raid the graveyards, bring out those ghosts.

Votes are sounding off for starting over, so -- who wants in? I suggest groups of four or five.
Okay, let's do one of two things, but let's decide which ... now.
1 - Start over, new groups. Smaller.
2 - Skip ahead, skip ahead. Doci can go ahead and write hers, and I can write mine. Pretend the previous played square is adjacent to us, or use other squares, rather than rearranging the grid. Quicker than getting substitutes. If we do that, Doci, you inherit the old ghosts: soap opera, Twilight Zone, cartoons. I'll be working from soap opera, religious programming, Leave it To Beaver.
Unless people want to just go with 1 and start fresh, I say we get on to 2.

Uh ... are we still playing?
As per the post on the 25th of September, entelein needs to post her chapter so that doctorpepper can post his chapter so that amberite can post her chapter so that I can post my chapter, and I'm three days overdue into Katie's turn - which I can only assume will be doctorpepper after all.
Group 2 should actually have been done by now (on the original schedule), but they're between cycles waiting for geredan.
Having just spent a month away from keyboard, I'll be the first to say, "I understand that real life gets in the way, and we can't always do these things."
But Group 1 is now ... 5 and a half weeks behind schedule. (Five? I think five. Six maybe? I dunno.) Not to be abrasive (or look like I'm trying to take charge), but at this point we need to either get rolling, or give up. entelein, I hate to point a finger at you, but can you get an entry up in the next day or two, or are we SOL?
On a related note (but I want to persue this regardless of what happens with the current game), are there three or four people who might be interested in a separate, significantly longer, version of the game? Fewer people means a tighter rotation, which would allow each of us to write more, longer which would allow us to bring our stories together - with no set schedule, ideally, so that we could crank out a rotation a day if the muse struck us all together (unlikely but possible)?
Any further comments? I'm not trying to offend anyone here, I just very much enjoy this game, and want to write more for it.
